Veteran Art Fest: Art Show

Veteran Creative Arts Festival: Veteran Artist Award Ceremony & Reception Participate in our Veteran Creative Arts Festival! Any Veteran and their family members can celebrate their art! Attend any of our Art Workshops and submit your artwork from a workshop, or create artwork on your own and submit it to the Festival by May 28th!Artwork will be on display (anonymously) at the library from June 1st – June 29th. The public will be able to vote on artwork - all voters are eligible to win a prize. Winners will be notified and winning pieces will go on display at the VCAF at Zablocki on July 1st. The Veteran Artist Award Ceremony will take place at the library on June 29th at 6:30pm - refreshments will be provided! For registration or questions, please contact Diane Burkhalter, at burkhalterdl@gmail.com

Fossil Scavenger Hunt

Find the 9 fossils in the windows of our local downtown businesses! If you find all 9 fossils and write down the correct business names, turn in your sheet to the library for your prize! Scavenger hunt sheets will be available at both upstairs and downstairs circulation desks.

Tweens and teens (ages 8-18), join us every other Monday for a chance to make your own dinosaur-related crafts and creations! Each event is a different STEM activity, fully guided, and all supplies provided. Then, take home your creations to enjoy!
